The day will begin with a special Mass at 12 pm noon, followed by a picnic lunch, followed by instruction from the priests. Fr. Latimer will finish catechism for the First Communicants (namely, Lesson 11 on the Eucharist and the Holy Mass), give instruction on how to receive Holy Communion, and, with the help of Fr. McWhirter, administer a brief verbal test for the children. Fr. Curtis will wrap up the lessons with the Confirmandi (both the boys and the girls). After instruction, there will be a chance for First Confessions.
