Picnic & Fireworks: St. Stephen’s is a great place to watch the fireworks! A few years ago, when a severe drought made fireworks illegal outside the city, we invited parishioners to the parish grounds for the evening. Since then, this parish picnic has grown into an impromptu annual event. Bring a quilt or lawn chairs (if you like), some food and beverages! The picnic will take place after the 6 pm Mass; parishioners are welcome to stay as late as they like (within reason!).
