The Chesterton Academy is running an informational booth after some or all of the Sunday Masses this week.

First Friday & First Saturday fall this week. There will be a sung Mass on Fri, May 5 at noon. On Sat, May 6, please attend the 7 am or 8:30 am Mass, not the noon Mass!

First Holy Communion & Confirmation Receptions. I am very grateful to Kathleen Pauls for volunteering to organize three receptions in the span of one week. She is asking for additional volunteers to set up, serve, and clean up at these receptions (Sat, May 6; Tues, May 9; & Sat, May 13). Troops of St. George Fundraiser. Food and beverages will be served after Masses on Sun, May 7.

Marian Procession. Sat, May 20. No 8:30 am or noon Mass at the parish. Procession begins at 8 am at East Lawn Cemetery, 4300 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento. A Solemn Mass will be offered at the conclusion, at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, at 11 am.

Graduation Mass. On Fri, May 26, there will be a 6 pm Mass offered for graduating high school seniors, followed by a potluck. This will take the place of Youth Group on that day. Those that wish to participate could please reach out to Inocencio Rangel at clanrangel@hotmail.com.

Fr Evaristus will be away from the parish, visiting his home in Nigeria, from April 11 until May 12.
