Registrations for First Holy Communion are now available in the parish office and bookstore. They will be due on Sun, Jan 7. Classes will begin on Sun, Jan 14. Fr. McWhirter will be teaching the classes this year.
The Troops of St. George will be holding a fundraiser this Sun, Oct 29, following the 7, 8:30, 10, 11:30 am & 1 pm Masses. The menu for the fundraiser includes: after the 7 & 8:30 am Masses – pastries & coffee; after the 10, 11:30 am & 1 pm Masses – hot dogs, chips & beverages.

The All Hallows Eve Party is returning this Tues, Oct 31. We now have the schedule:
▪ 4:30 pm Parade of the Saints
▪ 5:30 pm Litany of the Saints in the Church
▪ 6:00 pm Holy Mass
▪ 7:00 pm Dinner (hot dogs and pot-luck chili)
▪ 7:30 pm Children’s Activities
▪ 9:30 pm Clean-up

All Saints. Wed, Nov 1, is the Feast of All Saints; it is a holy day of obligation. Masses will be at 7 am, 8:30 am, noon (Solemn), and 6 pm.
All Souls. Thurs, Nov 2, Masses will be at 6:30 am, 7 am, 7:30 am; then at 11:30 am, 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm; and finally at 5:30 pm, 6 pm, 6:30 pm (Sung). Communion will be given at the 7 am, 12 pm, and 6:30 pm Masses.
Novena for the Dead. In November, the parish will offer nine Masses for the repose of the soul of our parishioners as well as their friends, family, and benefactors. Envelopes are now available in the vestibule – submitted names will be placed in a cloth envelope that is kept on the gradine of the altar for the duration of November.

Nine Masses for the Novena will be offered on Nov 2, 3, and 4.

First Friday & First Saturday fall this week.
There will be a sung Mass at noon on Fri, Nov 3.

The Little Flowers, Rosa Mystica, & Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary meet this Sat, Nov 4.

Women’s Recollection. We will be hosting a day of recollection for the women of the parish on Sat, Nov 11.
Registration forms for the recollection are available in the parish bookstore and office. Registration is due by Sun, Nov 5. The schedule is available online:

Marriage Workshop. On Sat, Jan 27, after the noon Mass, Fr Curtis will be providing an afternoon workshop for marriage. There will be three conferences on the following topics: weighing the options for education; difference modes of fathers and mothers relating to children; the hierarchy of the family and the virtuous exercise of authority; the different vulnerabilities of husbands and wives in marriage; and others, also question and answer. The workshop will begin with noon Mass and go until 5 pm.
Some of the young adult ladies of the parish have graciously agreed to provide childcare, with some organized activities, on the classroom side of the property for younger children during the Marriage Workshop.
